Create a Chapter Scrapbook

Begin a scrapbook of activities and on-mission projects completed by your chapter this year. Start with the very first chapter meeting. This is a project that some of the RA moms may be interested in coordinating or helping RAs put together.

Scrapbook Ideas

• On the cover, put your RA Chapter name, the year, and the RA logo. Consider also including a photo of your entire group.
• Include a summary of a routine chapter meeting and chapter meeting pictures and descriptions throughout the year. Always have a camera available in your meeting room (encourage parents to donate disposable cameras and volunteer to have the film developed and returned to you throughout the year).
• While participating in hands-on mission projects, take plenty of pictures and pick up brochures or other keepsakes for your scrapbook.
• Any time you award certificates, patches, pins, chevrons, medals, and so forth, take a picture and write a caption for it. 
• Make a collage of many pictures, including captions. 
• When you have special guest speakers or visitors, document those with photos or maps of the country or area they serve.

Your scrapbook will serve as a wonderful testimony to others of the on-mission activities of your RAs. It may also serve as a great promo piece to recruit future Lads and Crusaders (and leaders). Make your book colorful and interesting—and most important—have fun!
