2000 SBC Presidential Address

At the 2000 Southern Baptist Convention in Orlando, Florida, then SBC President Paige Patterson used 2 Corinthians 5:20 as the focal verse for his presidential address. Beginning with the fact that he was a Royal Ambassador, Dr. Patterson, now president of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, presented a compelling call for all of God's people to accept their rightful positions as ambassadors for Christ. The address includes living history re-enactors who converse with Patterson during the presentation. The re-enactors portray Lottie Moon, Adoniram Judson and Bill Wallace, among others.

The video is an excellent resource to use to recruit leaders or boys for Royal Ambassador, present RAs to a church, or to use in an RA chapter meeting or special event. The video is posted courtesy of the Southern Baptist Historical Library and Archives.
