• RA Interest Activities

    Royal Ambassadors incorporate fun into the learning process. Interest activities:

    • help make RAs fun.
    • meet the physical and social needs of RAs.
    • provides an attraction to the RA ministry.
    • emphasizes good sportsmanship and teamship.
    • creates meaningful relationships between boys and adults.

    Interest activities include games, play, drama, crafts, camping, fishing, sports, hiking, trips, and hobbies.

    RA RACERS—A favorite that has become a tradition and an annual event!  RAs (and their leaders and parents) love making RA race cars to race for fun and competition. Secure race car kits by contacting Royal Racers.

    BIBLE BOWL COMPETITION
    Part of a Bible Drill Program, boys learn Bible verses (e.g., 25 verses and 10 key passages) during the year. They are allowed to use these verses toward the Royal Ambassador Bronze Memory Medal.

    MISSION SPEAK-OUT
    This is a competition at a Statewide RA Congress. (Check with your state RA office for specifics). Each Lad or Crusader writes a two- to three-minute speech on being on mission. They are judged on content, delivery, and composition. The boys earn ribbons for their finish.

    MISSION BOWL
    Mission Bowl is a RA team event at a Statewide RA Congress. (Check with your state RA office for specifics). A team is comprised of four Lads or Crusaders and they are challenged to answer 20 questions from either Lad or Crusader magazine. The top three teams earn ribbons for their finish.

    RIFLE COMPETITION
    At the RA Congress (check with your state RA office for specifics), RAs are allowed to enter a rifle shooting competition. They learn gun safety and how to load, aim, and shoot a BB gun.
